Battle System
- HP
- HP is equal to a Pokemon's Level times 2 when above level 10, e.g. a Level 11 Pikachu has 22 HP, and everything below Level 10 has 20 HP.
- In a battle thread, you are to post your Pokemon's HP and moveset.
- Other Stats
- We don't utilize any of the other stats (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed) .
- The only time other stats can be boosted is with stat changing moves, which is to be calculated in to the damage formula.
- Damage
- Formula:
Base Damage * Effectiveness [* STAB] [+/- difference of levels] + Stat Changes + (Move Power/20) - Base Damage:
- Levels 1-5: 2
- Levels 6-10: 4
- Levels 11-15: 6
- Levels 16-20: 8
- Levels 21-25: 11
- Levels 26-30: 14
- Levels 31-35: 18
- Levels 36-40: 22
- Levels 41-45: 26
- Levels 46-50: 30
- Levels 51-55: 35
- Levels 56-60: 40
- Levels 61-65: 45
- Levels 66-70: 51
- Levels 71-75: 57
- Levels 76-80: 63
- Levels 81-85: 69
- Effectiveness is equal to one of three values:
- Not Effective: 0.5
- Effective: 1
- Super Effective: 2
- STAB is equal to 1.5 if your Pokemon and your attack have a common type.
- If your Pokemon has a larger amount of levels than your opponent: add the difference of the two Pokemon's levels.
- If your Pokemon has a lesser amount of levels than your opponent: do nothing.
- If your Pokemon has the same amount of levels as your opponent: do nothing.
- If your Pokemon has any status changes (attack/special attack/defense/special defense), add them to the equation.
- If your opponent's Pokemon has any status changes (attack/special attack/defense/special defense), subtract them from the equation.
- Move power can be found on Veekun or Serebii.net. Divide it by 20 and add it to the equation.
- Sonicboom and Dragon Rage have half their damage (10 and 20 respectively)
